Every time we release an upgrade of sobees, you will be automatically notified a short while after having launched the application. It will be updated the next time you launch sobees.

Should you want to restore the older version of sobees after having upgraded it, go to “Programs and Features”, search sobees and select "Uninstall/Change". A pop-up window will ask you if you want to restore or remove the application. Select "Restore the application to its previous state".

The filter tool allows you to search for specific words in the different services you are connected to.

Our web application, sobees web, is built on Silverlight and therefore offers the possibility to bring the application OUT OF THE BROWSER and install it on your desktop. Little drawback however (but which can be corrected easily): to get Facebook to work OUT of the browser, you will first need to do the connection when the application is still IN the browser; you will not be able to get Facebook to connect otherwise, since Silverlight’s OOB does not manage browser pop-ups.

So, to summarize:

1) Go to www.sobees.com and connect to Facebook (make sure that you enable/check your pop-ups when connecting to Facebook for the first time with sobees web).

The way we manage copy and paste in sobees can seem a little unusual but is actually really easy to use!

All you need to do is right click on the text you would like to copy and select Copy.

Copy

Please note that, for now, we only offer you the possibility to copy a whole Tweet/text, which means that you will not be able to copy a portion of the text only.

For sobees web: Unfortunately, it is not possible to copy text in sobees web yet. But we are working on it!
One of the features included in sobees is the notifications. But where do we find them? They actually are optional, so you will first need to enable and configure them. In order to do it, head to the Options (the button is located at the top of the window).

First, make sure that you checked the “Enable notifications” box in the General tab.

After that, switch to the Accounts tab. There, you will have the possibility to configure different notifications for each of your accounts (Facebook included).
